Whitening

A procedure that involves lightening the colour of vital or non-vital teeth.

Vital teeth are whitened using a gel containing carbamide peroxide, of which oxygen is the main active component, and soft resin trays made in the laboratory. You perform the procedure yourself at home, over several days, by fitting the trays containing the gel snugly around your teeth, in accordance with the dentist’s instructions.

In the case of non-vital teeth, the active product is inserted directly inside the tooth in question over several days, with the procedure repeated until the tooth is the desired shade of white.
