Implantology

Implantology involves fitting an artificial root in place of a natural root that has been extracted. The missing tooth can then be replaced with a crown anchored to this artificial root. We use Swiss implants by Straumann® – the world-leader in this field.

Implants are manufactured all over the world in a variety of shapes and materials, and with different surfaces. Straumann® implants are made from titanium and are cylindrical, with a roughened, biologically active surface (SLActive®), thus ensuring rapid and early stability (four weeks) of the implant in the bone.
